The School of Nursing at the University of Delaware provides three distinct pathways toward becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). The traditional undergraduate program spans four years and starts when students directly enter into the curriculum as freshmen. By contrast, the Accelerated Degree Program lasts only 17 months and is designed for those who have already attained undergraduate degrees in other fields.

Offered online only, the RN to bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) program is designed to allow registered nurses to continue with their career path while earning a nursing bachelor of science degree. Various graduate degrees are also offered on campus, including an MS in nursing and doctorates in nursing science and nursing practice. Graduate students may also work to attain a healthcare leadership degree.
