Sophia Eick has been a student at the University of Delaware since 2018 and is pursuing a bachelor of science in Nursing. At the university, Sophia Eick has maintained a high grade point average, earning her a mention on the Dean’s List.

She was also awarded the Rosa H. McDonald Nursing Scholarship for the 2018/19 academic year. Since becoming a student, Ms. Eick has been involved in multiple on-campus activities, including serving as a gold member representative with the Student Nursing Organization.

In the role, she attends regular meetings focused on career opportunities for student nurses, alongside providing university tours to prospective students. Sophia Eick has also been involved in opportunities off-campus. A former volunteer at Weisman Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center, she provided swimming lessons to children with autism.

She is also a server at Pats Select, a position she has held since 2013, and has previously shadowed nurses at Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital.
